1. Determine the Timing: The most popular time for a proposal in Cappadocia is sunrise. Proposals made as balloons take flight offer an incredible backdrop. Sometimes we pose as tourists, sometimes we wait behind a wall — but the shutter is always ready. Our photographer works from 200-300 meters away with a telephoto lens; the risk of being noticed is virtually zero.

A posed proposal photograph can never replace the real thing. The first shock, the trembling hands, the tears — these exist only in the genuine moment. Our work is to preserve that moment forever.

How to Keep the Secret

This is the most critical part. You can present the trip to your partner as a "birthday surprise," "anniversary getaway," or simply a "Cappadocia vacation." For the early morning shoot, an explanation like "the hotel gifted us a complimentary photo tour" works well.

Carrying the ring also requires its own strategy. Hiding it in luggage is risky — the safest approach is to leave it in the hotel safe and retrieve it on the morning of the shoot. Some of our clients send the ring to us in advance and we deliver it on the day.

A tip from experience: Rather than telling your partner to dress nicely the night before the shoot, simply say "let us take some nice photos around Cappadocia" in general terms. This way they will not be suspicious while getting ready in the morning and will look natural.
